Whether you are a die-hard Balenciaga fan and own everything Nicholas Ghesquière has ever designed or a beauty junkie with an impressive collection of perfumes, you will be mesmerised by Balenciaga Paris.  A light fragrance that is as pleasant as sunshine, the scent reminds you of the first moments of April when floral breezes fill the air.  It is also mysterious at the same time with a peppery note that is created by mossy wood.

Nicholas Ghesquière describes the creation of Balenciaga Paris in the following words, “As soon as I arrived at Balenciaga, over 10 years ago, I wanted to create a fragrance – a classic and chic fragrance worthy of a prestigious courture house, but a fragrance that also tells an unprecedented story.  I wanted Balenciaga Paris to be a fragrance that makes a mark and haunts the memory.  I also wanted Balenciaga Paris to be a fragrance with delicate mystery.  I would like women to discover Balenciaga Paris and have the impression that they have always known it.”   

With an aim to break the grounds of the perfumery arena, the designer collaborates with perfumer Oliver Polge and they have enlisted actress and singer/songwriter Charlotte Gainsbourg, a woman who bears true Balenciaga personality to be the perfume’s muse and story.  Balenciaga Paris is the ultimate reflection of the Balenciaga style - classic, feminine and refined.
