Reason he loves: Abstract proportions, whether in fashion, architecture or product design, really interest me; as soon as I saw this at the Lane Crawford Pacific Place home store I was all over it.  This is definitely number one on my Christmas pick list.

This product is three times the size of the original Anglepoise 1227; it is also dimmable and has castors on the base for easy positioning around your room.

Parrot by Philippe Starck – Zikmu Wireless Speakers

Reason he loves: Who wouldn’t want a piece of Phillippe Starck in their flat?  The best thing is I am a 100% “Mac boy” so having one of these would mean I could listen to everything on my laptop and iphone without having to plug a single thing in.  It helps that they look slick too.

Globe Trotter – Luggage

Reason he loves: I would gladly accept any piece from this collection in any size for Christmas (although the brown and grey ones are absolute class).  I really like old school luggage and these bags are so light that I could actually travel with them.  I wouldn’t even need to pack them away when I get back from a trip as I would gladly have them lying around in the house.

Balenciaga – Varsity Jacket

Reason he loves: This piece is brilliant!  I have wanted it since I first saw it in the showroom.  I like everything about it – the leather details, the shade of green they used – it is real clever and it fits me like a glove.

Alexander McQueen – Skull Vest

Reason he loves: Everyone in our marketing department is aware of how keen I am on a good T-shirt print so I had to stick in at least one of them for the picks.  This print works really well on a vest!  Since Hong Kong is hot for 90% of the year, I’m sure I’ll get a lot of wear out of it.
