The China collection is a complete illustration of Diane von Furstenburg’s talents in art and design, featuring her favourite floral and geometric prints and bright colours and transferring them into daily utensils.

Lane Crawford, in collaboration with Club Monaco, launches a charity initiative, “Wrapped with Love” – a  programme that calls on the community of Hong Kong to help those in need by knitting squares to create blankets, all of which will be donated to the Crossroads Foundation and distributed to local and international families. 

Through this initiative, Lane Crawford has collected 51,000 squares from the community and knitted them into 2,300 blankets to give warmth and support to the needed worldwide. The first batch of the blankets had been delivered to The Philippines for people who were affected by the catastrophic floods in December.  Lane Crawford and Club Monaco are also pleased to announce a total of HKD250,000 proceeds has been collected, which will be donated to the local and international charity organizations.

To share these exciting results with the community, a cheque presentation was held yesterday, January 19, 2012 at Lane Crawford ifc mall with presences of Ms. Amy Schmitt Seabolt, Public Relations and Communications Director of Lane Crawford; Mr. David Lyall and Ms. Kate Falconer, representative of Crossroads Foundation; Ms. Lindsey McAlister, representative of Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation; representatives from Club Monaco and Po Leung Kuk, together with celebrity models Jennifer Tse, Janet Ma, socialite Kennis Tai, as well as fashion designer Barney Cheng in support of the charity act.

In celebration of the Year of the Dragon, Lane Crawford collaborates with Hong Kong based artist, Don Mak to create this unique Limited Edition Electronic Gift Card, making it the perfect gift for this Chinese New Year. 

Mak has worked in the local comic field for several years before returning to school in 2006. Since his graduation from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a BA Honour in Visual Communications in 2009, he has been working as a freelance illustrator for publishers and advertising agencies, and has been a member of the Hong Kong Society of Illustrators since 2004.
