(Hong Kong– January 17, 2014) This Chinese New Year, Lane Crawford joined hand with Kids4Kids for a community art project “Art for a Cause”.

Celebrating the strength and grace of the noble horse, Lane Crawford presents limited edition of gold and silver ceramic ornaments especially designed by acclaimed Hong Kong based artist Caroline Cheng. The collection is available in two colours, retails at HKD668 each and HKD1,188 for two (Any colours) at all Lane Crawford stores and Proceeds will benefit Kids4Kids to support its programme.

The Kids4Kids "Art for A Cause" Project will engage 400 kids from the local community in a series of workshops to paint a ceramic horse shaped pottery ornament cum money box. The workshops encourage the expression of creativity in the community and provide support for underprivileged children to have opportunity to express creativity for a cause.

Extending this programme, Lane Crawford invited 12 creative talents to design their horses and they will be exhibited in Lane Crawford stores in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Participating members of the creative community include creatives Catherine Grossrieder,
Gemma Hayden Blest, Ikumi Nagasawa, Kate Barnett, Kay Wong of Daydream Nation, Lio Yeung, Mark Goss, Oriana Reich, Pauline Yau, Qi Ming, Tang Kim Kui and YMOYNOT.
