Reason he loves: Abstract proportions, whether in fashion, architecture or product design, really interest me; as soon as I saw this at the Lane Crawford Pacific Place home store I was all over it.  This is definitely number one on my Christmas pick list.

Reason he loves: Who wouldn’t want a piece of Phillippe Starck in their flat?  The best thing is I am a 100% “Mac boy” so having one of these would mean I could listen to everything on my laptop and iphone without having to plug a single thing in.  It helps that they look slick too.

Reason he loves: This piece is brilliant!  I have wanted it since I first saw it in the showroom.  I like everything about it – the leather details, the shade of green they used – it is real clever and it fits me like a glove.

Alexander McQueen – Skull Vest

Reason he loves: Everyone in our marketing department is aware of how keen I am on a good T-shirt print so I had to stick in at least one of them for the picks.  This print works really well on a vest!  Since Hong Kong is hot for 90% of the year, I’m sure I’ll get a lot of wear out of it.

Ceramic Clocks

The most striking features of the Ceramic Clocks designed by George Nelson are their playful design and sculptured appearance. The clocks' somewhat geometric or organic look is reminiscent of sculptures by such artists as Constantin Brancusi and Isamu Noguchi. The Ceramic Clocks were conceived at the start of the 1950s, but for unknown reasons they never went into series production. Using the original plans and available prototypes, Vitra has now made these extraordinary clocks available for purchase for the very first time.
