During a special shopping weekend on October 10 and 11, the Lane Crawford Pacific Place home store is excited to host a series of activities, giving customers an opportunity to gain design inspiration from leading names in the world of home and interior design. The program includes personal appearances by Australian furniture designers Adam Goodrum, Suzie Stanford, as well as David and Helen Lennie, who are the CEO and Sales & Marketing Director of Signature Prints – a company which holds the copyright licence to reproduce eccentric designer Florence Broadhurst’s hand-printed wallpapers and fabric designs.
The two-day event will feature the best of Australian elite designs and a series of complimentary services and highlights including:
l Live paint demonstration on model by Hong Kong- based body paint artist, Karen Yiu, with Florence Broadhurst’s signature prints

The Most Beautiful 10 Exhibition is La Mer’s tribute to Hong Kong and what makes this place so magical. In celebration of its 10th anniversary in Hong Kong in 2009, La Mer has joined forces with world-renowned art and image director William Chang in a first-time collaboration of art and beauty. The exhibition’s 10 stunningly beautiful photographs take us on an unforgettable tour of Hong Kong’s most memorable icons as seen through his eyes.
Ultra-premium skincare brand La Mer celebrated its 10th anniversary in Hong Kong on September 21 at the Four Seasons Hotel.
During the anniversary event, guests were treated to a stylish and elegant exhibition — the Most Beautiful 10 — created in a first-ever collaboration with Cannes-award-winning art and image director William Chang, who is renowned for his nostalgic art direction and is a frequent collaborator of film director Wong Kar-Wai. The exhibition paid tribute to Hong Kong and what makes this city so magical, capturing the imagination of some of Hong Kong’s most well-known celebrities attending today’s event.
The exhibition focused on two subjects — Personalities and Objects — with an artistic touch that was both breathtaking and elegant.
Personalities featured in the exhibition were:
l Grace Yu, Christian Dior’s first Asian in-house model
l CoCo Lee, singer
l Rosamund Kwan, actress
l Zhu Bei, violinist
l Stella Miao, a 10-year-old girl who shares same birth month as La Mer in Hong Kong
La Mer Most Beautiful 10 will be exclusively exhibited at Lane Crawford starting from September 28, 2009 on the following dates:

Taking a step further to strengthen its alignment with lovers of art and culture, starting for its 2010 collection, Moleskine invites an artist or designer to design a unique cover for its limited edition leather diaries, Artist Cover.
With 2010 fast approaching, the LC Insider is excited to share that the first Artist Cover collection will be launched in Hong Kong this weekend exclusively at Lane Crawford. Designed by Spanish designer Marti Guixé, the limited edition series feature various weekly and daily planners for 2010 in both large and pocket sizes. The notebooks’ playful, hand-drawn graphic is carried over from the front to the back of each notebook, bringing the designer’s distinctive aesthetic to the iconic Moleskine notebook. To match the cheerful touch of the collection, Marti Guixé has also designed a series of playful stickers to be used with the diary.
Houndstooth, the distinctive black-and -white check made classic in the 70s is back again this Autumn/ Winter, making a strong presence on the runway. We are excited to find a diverse selection of designs from skirts, dresses, trousers, and tops in houndstooth print at Lane Crawford. The traditional houndstooth has been interpreted in different ways by Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, and Diane von Furstenberg, among others. Wrap yourself in this classic yet of-the-moment print this season.
